We are a family owned and operated restaurant and catering business for over 50 years based in South San Francisco, operating a Michelin recommended Eastern Mediterranean restaurant and multiple fast-casual outlets. We are looking for skilled and personable servers to help provide excellent service to all of our guests. Opportunity for growth!
Responsibilities
Greet and serve customers in a professional and timely manner
Complete all assigned and necessary tasks to prepare dining room, bar and service station for service and to close the restaurant after
Know the full menu, being able to answer guest questions and verbally sell menu items including specials or promotions
Maintain service areas such as dining room, bar and service stations in a clean and orderly fashion during the entire shift, keeping surfaces clean, sanitizing regularly, disposing of debris and bottles, and washing glasses behind the bar as needed
Help manage inventory, restocking any bar items as needed from glassware to beverages and other supplies and alerting appropriate person for any items that need to be ordered
Assist with answering the telephone and taking messages
Manage POS transactions, receiving payment from guests
Process takeout orders through multiple online platforms
Qualifications
Two years restaurant service experience
Prior experience mixing in-house cocktails
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Amazing customer service skills
Takes ownership of their tasks and displays initiative
